I got this with another sale like it pretty well. Hooked up my computer, monitors, etc. in my home office with this. The only thing I own by this company, but have not had any issues either. And it's neat seeing the power consumption of each plug. Integrates with smart home if you are into that. And you can set things up on a schedule which is pretty nice.
Wouldn't buy full price, but at this would if you are interested in the things above.

I bought a pair of two-outlet smart plugs (four outlets total)
Plug the smart plugs to my existing power strip.
The smart plug i bought is the Govee brand with both wireless and Bluetooth connections.
Ps. This set up may not be ideal for you if you already have other smart home systems.
You need to download its own app to control it.
I also considered creating a new kasa account just for this power strip (eliminating the alexa issues), but then I started looking into versions with energy monitoring and better security…
As covid had me not travel anymore this fell out of priority, but the last solution I was looking at was a KMC 4 smart plug (amazon has it), which has energy monitoring (it would be nice to know what each of the devices is consuming) and you can flash it with a Tasmota firmware for more control, security and home automation…
I am also sure when they initially do a discovery they give you a list of devices they discovered that you can unclick if you don't want those devices on Alexa.
BTW, this is my schedule to charge my EV. I avoid charging to 100% for battery longevity. I come here to adjust the charging time because of the lack of vehicle option to stop charging before 100%

The Web Power Switch was built just for this function, but it doesn't have an app to control it.
It does have a web page, and seems that they've added Alexa compatibility.
It's slightly technical to setup, but the core functionality is to reboot something when it can no longer ping it.
* can't ping Google
* cycle power to internet router
* wait 10 minutes
* try to ping Google again
* repeat

Among other things, I use mine to monitor the time my central vacuum is in use so my kids (and I) know if they've run the vacuum for a sufficient amount of time to get credit for that chore. It logs on/off cycles and time spent in 'on'.
On my list is to monitor the septic tank pump and furnace condensate pump and send an alert if they haven't run a certain amount of time each day/week. Need to figure out what "normal" looks like for those devices by looking at logs.
This capability saved me a headache last year when my septic pump stopped working. I knew something was wrong days before the tank filled up, vs finding out when the tank alarm goes off and then not being able to use anything until it's fixed. Ended up just being a dead float switch and easy fix.
My power strips are hardware version 1.0
I reset and tried configuring them again but that didn't fix the problem. Kasa app didn't have firmware update for the 2.8s. Their tech support was not able to resolve this but forward the problem to their engineering team. I ended up returning the two version 2.8 smartstrips and kept the version 1.8 ones.
