Lol I thought kef 950q were expensive. Just saw the price for the LS50s. Damn I feel poor!
"accessories4less" is KEF's official outlet store. I purchased my KEF LSX speakers there to use as desk speakers in combination with their KF92 subwoofer. Much cheaper on that site and still supported by KEF. Not going to lie though pocket book still hurts despite the discounted prices but they do sound great. With both speakers pointed at me listening to music it sounds like there is an actual hidden center speaker directly in front of me at the same time as I can hear clear stereo details from left to right. I think that's what sound folks refer to as soundstage but could be wrong but either way its kind of amazing.

Wow did not know this. Thanks for this. Bookmarked. Even the 950q is for 750 which is quite better than $999.
I have received these. I gave them a good 1.5 hours of a good workout streaming music to break in. I was on the fence. They are not bright like the R51M. They are smooth. I finally placed a KEM CD in blu-ray player and man that's when I felt they are great sounding. I use a old Onkyo HTRC 360 receiver. So, I suppose the difference in the quality of signal is going to make all the difference in the world. These are replacing the r41m front(now moved to rear). Definitely match better to r25c for HT. Just wish they were black. May paint them if they survive the auditioning 30 day period.
Why do they still have stock of this line? It was discontinued years ago and I thought they had sales to dump it for the new line.
Wondering the same thing. Has anyone actually received these after buying? Wondering if these are actually RP 500s and just advertising as the 150s to get around the pricing requirements from Klipsch

Are they 500s or 150s? You will have to tune them in the receiver. Have you run the calibration software yet?
