Is this better than the Acer Nitro Monitor (VG270U Pbmiipx 27" WQHD) from last week??

This monitor destroys that one.

Anyone uses this for pic editing and light gaming?
I have this monitor I bought it a couple months ago for 250.00 it has a great picture I game on it but you need to fine tune the color setting you can find them online. It has a great picture. Some reviews says dead pixel issues but i didn't have an issue. I price matched with bestbuy

Reviews are pretty good in rtings.com....anyone using with ps5 and anyone using for Lightroom photo editing ?

PS5 doesn't support 1440p. It'll output to the monitor, but it's really blurry on a 1440p monitor.

Well, seeing as I purchased this monitor twice last week I'll give my two cents. I researched this this thing left and right for nearly a week. Comparing it to over 20 other models. Checking out forums and videos and reviews from a bunch of sites. Finally pulled the trigger on it and the very first thing I noticed right out of the box was the bottom left of the bezel seemed warped. It just kind of stuck out a few mm further than the rest. It was annoying me already but honestly I was willing to look past it. I really wanted the KVM and PIP/ PBP features plus everything else else was just icing. That all came to halt when I turned it on and saw that HORRENDOUS light bleed from that warped looking part of the screen. Yeah...I was a little irritated, especially since I drove 40 min and paid tolls just to have to drive back to exchange it for another one.

Well....I get home with the other one and notice the warping again, although not nearly as pronounced on this one. I wanted to check the light bleed on this but I couldn't. Why you may ask....because the power button was literally just free floating behind the panel. i tried seeing if maybe it was loose but could never power the thing on. Suffice it to say I was a little pissed at this point as I had to drive back again to exchange this one. After gas, I drive a V8 F-150, and tolls and now a third trip i wasn't going to chance it.

I went with the Acer Nitro XV272U. Not the VG270U, the 2U was better rated. This model was listed $100 more but edged out the M27Q on rtigns.com. It was also on sale for the same price at $299 at the time so I went for it, and I have absolutely no regrets. Even the sales guy said the M27q is awesome assuming you get a good one. Maybe it's the quality control or I'm just unlucky, or both, but I'm happy with the Acer Nitro XV272U, even without the KVM.

I picked up the M32Q earlier with the 15% off/$50 off for $320. The 32" M32Q is very highly rated. If it doesn't have any quality issues, I'm definitely keeping it. Pretty damn hard to find those type of specs for the price.

Quote from TDIPWR :
I posted and bought this last time but I just purchased the M32Q today for $100 more, because I think it will be worth it.

Don't get me wrong this is the best budget 27" 1440p gaming monitor I love it, but so much that I think the 32" with the upgraded panel is probably worth it for $100 more. With the no hassle return policy I am going to make the decision in person and return one.

edit: PS - I am a little salty that when I posted this everyone panned it...lol

Bought this a month ago for ~300, love the kvm feature for switching between work and personal. Highly recommended! Cleartype negates any issues with the bgr layout.

Does it have two upstream ports? I just saw one usbc upstream port. I need this feature to work like it works on my dell 34w19. The dell has two usb upstream ports and you can assign usb 1 to hdmi and usb 2 to dp1 as an example. This would be helpfully info and I will probably get the 32" one.

All the usb peripherals plugged into the monitor will control whichever machine the monitor is switched to. I have a usb hub into it so I can use my keyboard mouse and headset on either machine, let me know if I understood your question.

I have this and the colors are great for the price. Even though I calibrate all my monitors, this one didn't really require it.

Can it actually do 170hz? Very often I find monitors can't do the refresh rate they claim to do.

Does anyone know if this monitor will do portrait? I know the included stand doesn't swivel but if I use an arm will this monitor support this?

This is better overall, though the LG has its perks. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/to...shold=0.10
