Newegg through ebay has the 2tb 970 evo plus ssd for $229.99. For some reason it's another case of them not having it that low on their website.... Free shipping.
You might want to double check you have the same revision... the older revision is actually faster due to using faster DRAM
I can't find any info about that, just the controller change on new (1tb) ones. I don't know why I even bought samsungs, though. They have bad quality in everything else and then i buy the hype that they're the best ram and ssd maker... I've had wd issues before, though, and that's the only 2 brands I'd use really, yet both have issues.
Anyone know what they changed in the listing? It now says at the top that they changed something in the listing.
What sucks is yesterday I went to buy ebay gcs at 5% off without realizing that I was over my limit on that card. And then my payment kept taking forever to post, so i just used some visa gcs that I already got discounts on... but would have been nice to get the 5% and then sue those visas on something else.
Anyway, looks like i bought just in time because they only sold less than 20 more after mine before selling out.
I originally ordered form bh for $250 and tax refunded. This one was actually $252 so i paid more if you look at it like that, but I used a lot of discounted cards to buy it. lol.
But anyway I had never seen it go below $250 before. It had been at $250 even like 2 years ago, though, then went a long time not dropping back down to it.

I am not sure why my link isn't working. Just head to samsung.com and search for ssd.
