onemesh helps boosting coverage, but speed is much worse than dedicated mesh. you can't mix and match it with deco mesh.
This thing is huge, about the size of a mini chromebook. super thick. Antennas are fixed and can't be adjusted.
My house is 2k sqft, single floor, router is in the center of the house, coverage is sufficient.

You might get away with saying "not china owned".
Try Amazon eero series, which is at least from Vietnam. Red China ask a Chinese company to put a backdoor, it has to comply to the party's order.

I did experience client drops and reconnects, particular on Ring doorbell (not a Ring anomaly or signal issue).
Edit. Also have fiber 1g up/down and seems to handle it fine. WiFi speeds range depending on distance, device, walls, etc. WiFi 6 decides see massive improvement. Older decides still dependent on whatever is the weakest link.

Just another data point for those interested. My house is 3k sqft and I put this in the center. We get great wireless coverage all around the house and around the outside perimeter. No dead zones.

Cross Check the sticker on the box and then go to the website and look at the firmware download
Then log into the web page of your router and look at the hardware version there.
I exchanged mine to get version 1.6 and it's much faster/stable.
