Uggh I signed up for the student developer pack with GitHub but already have a free Canva basic sub and don't want to lose what I've designed. It's early and I just woke up but I can't figure out how to link the two and get a free year of Canva Pr via my .edu address.

First, make sure your GitHub account is signed up for GitHub EDU*. On the Canva offer page, look for "Already signed up? Log in" under the Sign up buttons. If you're already signed in, there should be a "Claim offer" button that you can click. Then it will ask to link to your GitHub account. Authorize that, and you should be all set—nothing will happen to your existing projects in Canva.

* If you're just signing up for GitHub EDU, it might take a bit to receive the confirmation email. But I was still able to get the Canva offer before my GitHub EDU account was approved.
