Went to B&M store for the first Gen Nest Doorbell. IMHO it's the best bc it does the 24 hr recording and is wired.

It still rang up as 229.00. Manager cleared it to 179.00 as advertised on Lowes app. Add in 10% mil discount (if able)…I think this is slick!

I like this doorbell. Great customer service. My first one started peeling after a couple years - being in the sun all day must have affected the clear coat. Did a google chat, sent some pics and they sent me a new one. That counts for something.

The 24-hour recording is a deal buster for those with slow internet. A Ring doorbell only starts recording when there is motion, a much better solution. Nest doorbell has no capability to start recording when there is motion.

It does make a difference for people with data caps. I didn't get one specifically due to that
