HBO Max offer -
https://www.roku.com/offers/hbomax
*Purchase a new Roku streaming device and activate it by connecting to the internet and linking to your new or existing Roku account between 10/1/21 and 1/14/22 to see if you qualify to receive 30 days of HBO Max included with your purchase. Promotional offer is for new HBO Max subscribers only. The new Roku device must be activated by January 14, 2022 and you must subscribe to HBO Max by January 21, 2022 in order to qualify for this 30-day HBO Max promotional offer (the "Roku Offer"). Qualifying customers can visit:
www.roku.com/offers/hbomax [roku.com] for instructions on how to redeem the Roku Offer. Offer available to U.S. residents only. Offer is non-transferable and may only be used once. Offer cannot be combined with any other promotional or free trial offer for HBO Max. If you choose to switch subscription plans during your 30-day promotional period, you may lose the benefit of your promotional offer. This Roku Offer requires enrollment in a monthly HBO Max subscription plan (either HBO Max Ad-Free or HBO Max With Ads) and provision of a valid payment method for continued service after the promotional period. Must be 18+ and a U.S. resident. To cancel your subscription and avoid being charged, you must cancel before the end of the 30-day promotional period. After the 30-day promotional period, Roku will charge your payment method the then current subscription price for your HBO Max monthly plan (currently $14.99 per month plus applicable taxes for the HBO Max Ad-Free plan and $9.99 per month plus applicable taxes for the HBO Max With Ads plan) on a recurring basis until you cancel your HBO Max subscription. Use of HBO Max is subject to its own terms and conditions and privacy policy, see hbomax.com/terms-of-use and
https://www.hbomax.com/privacy for details. Refurbished Roku players are not eligible for this promotion.
Amazon will no longer be supporting the Prime Video app on your Roku device (The specific models no longer supported are: 3500X, 2710X, 2720X, 2700X, 3050X, 3100X, 2400X, 3000X, 2500X, 2450X, 3400X, and 3420X) as of 1st November, 2021. We are continually upgrading our service and this occasionally means we can no longer support certain device models.

Hooked a TV up in my garage and my old Roku stick gets a signal, but it's weak. The stick has always been slow to load pages and apps, so an upgrade was due anyway.

At checkout it's defaulting to "Roku Pay". I switch that to CC, enter my info in, hit submit, and it loops me BACK to the shopping cart screen again. Same with Paypal.
Yes! I seem to be stuck in the loop. Trying to take advantage of 5% back on PayPal purchases with my CC...
EDIT: I did note that when I applied the coupon it gave an error that a better discount was already applied but when I clicked past it the discount still applied.
I really like that the interface is really fast to use, and I don't have to wade through a shit ton of crap from Google or Amazon. Their search feature also list content from multiple stores so you can do price comparison (although I never bought anything, mostly use it to find a free source).
These sticks are also supported for a lot longer and we can already see that, by this offer here. It is to get you to upgrade on the cheap to the newest device.
I'm afraid they are here to stay for a long time, and that other people's "smart" TV isn't so smart after a few years, because they don't update them unlike Roku.
But I still have a lowly 1080p in my office that I have the roku attached too and it works perfectly fine. Or it did until this announcement.
