"All in one", which means water pump, radiator and fans included.

360 is too big for my case unfortunately, want to get the dynamic first.
It depends on your case and other variables. It can be in a "push" configuration where the fans push the air through the radiator to move air in or out of the case. Or it can be set up in a "pull" configuration where the fans pull air through the radiator to move air in or out of the case. It can be mounted at the front or the top of the case. Do some googling of your case and the best location for a 360mm radiator. Even then you may see different opinions.
Can go either in the front or top. I have mine setup in the front to pull the air in. It has the pump built into the radiator itself so it gives more flexibility in terms of mounting compared to other coolers which have pump built in the cpu block.
NEVER have the outlet of the radiator lower than the CPU.
TLDR: just make sure your CPU isnt the highest point in the assembly

TLDR: just make sure the tubes coming out of the radiator are level or lower than your CPU.

2nd your warning is completely backwards. You said to do exactly what he said NOT to do.
TLDR you do not want the CPU/Pump (if the pump is in the CPU plate) to be the highest point
