I've been needing a new ladder, but am hesitant on buying a ladder from HF. Anyone used the ladder below? Is it worth it to wait for a different deal on a different multi-position ladder?

I have this exact ladder and love it. I believe I got it for $99 at some point in 2020 or 2019 but i dont remember 100% it works really well and adjust nice. The only difference I notice is it is substantially heavier than my dads little giant multi position.
Lots a HF bitterness going. Gas isn't $2.00 a gallon anymore, damn you Arco!
Reality is you can scour/monitor SD's for the occasional "deal" for a tool you need and find great quality/price on say Leviton or the like. If you need the tool tomorrow, your options are Amazon w/ 3 day shipping and hope you find comparable price/quality, take your chances at HD/Lowe's for $30 Kobalt set of universal joint socket adapters or head over to HF and pay $11.
Unless you're a mechanic/contractor, that $11 set from HF will do just fine to get at those spark plugs.
It is what it is, and isn't what it was...that's life. Name me some better (cheaper/better quality) options...I'm all ears. And those "YMMV" deals don't count. Some clearance sockets in Ocala, FL don't do me much good in CA.

I bought that ladder three or four months ago for $110ish. It's great. My house doesn't have a garage and only has a very small shed, so I had to go A-frame. It's extreme heavy, though. You can't really toss it around like a normal fixed house ladder.
HF used to be the go to store for ok to decent tools for the price. Since they quit doing the 20% and freebie extras there's little to love anymore. Their prices are too high to justify the quality of the product, you're better off spending just slightly more to get a much better tool, especially power tools, that will outlast one job.
When i was young and broke HF was perfect. I remember the cheapest set of decent impact sockets was Craftsman and at the time they were around $80, I went over to HF and picked up a similar kit for $20 and i still use them today. Times change and there are many more competitors in the low to mid tier market and HF can't compete like they used to in terms of price and quality. I knew that half the tools from HF wouldn't last forever, but for the price it was a gamble i was willing to take. Not anymore
Don't know how long ago "when I was young" was, but saying you're still using that cheap Harbor Freight socket set sounds like an endorsement. I agree with the other stuff you said though.
The Trump tariffs combined with Covid-19 and the related supply chain issues destroyed their business plan.
I stopped by last week for some acid brushes and a couple other items and they were out of stock on all but one of the items. Their disposable gloves are still over $15 / box, making it not worth buying from them.

I have this ladder, painted our house using it. Also cleaned out the dryer vent on the roof so it's used. Not daily but used. Its very sturdy (Heavy) and held me just fine.
It's sure isn't. But it has been interesting watching how the pandemic directly affected a business whose entire supply chain depends on manufacturing and transportation from the far east. I wonder how much product HF has floating on container ships right now or sitting idle in port somewhere.
I've been in a few HF stores the last couple months and the inventory seems okay. It's just the stores themselves seem to be totally dead. There are no crowds anymore.
There was FP deal posted a couple weeks ago for $90 Porter-Cable R/O polisher. For years, the Harbor Freight version was $40, making it a reasonably attractive alternative. But now the HF one is $80 , so why bother?

We'll see if they can recover.
