Got this 2 years ago and haven't regretted it. they typically run it for about $250 every few months and it always ends up being FP.

This is pretty much the best price it gets, sometimes $250, but you may want to wait for the LTE model which can go as low as $300.

I want to say this had free install a couple years ago at this price?
This one appears to come with installation as well, but yes, I purchased it about a year ago at $250 and had it installed for no additional cost. It was a great purchase; still working strong, and the range is better than on my wife's factory remote system from Buick (2018).

Will this work for my 2000 civic ex? I know auto start won't work since it's a 5spd but I mainly want it as an alarm. Just want to confirm that this is also an alarm. Thanks.

Best Buy discontinued the old LTE model. Is this the new one? It's priced $250 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/comp...Id=6367125

I had this same one installed in my 2017 Honda Civic Si which was a 6 speed 4 years ago, they just added something like a $10.00 part, I think it was this,
Voxx Electronics - Ball Bearing Tilt Switch. This was for starting.

Just a remote start (no alarm) -- you'll have to ask BB if they install on manual cars

This is a separate remote -- it doesn't replace your factory key fob so you'll still need that

After install on some cars it'll also remote start if you hit lock button 3x times on factory remote but you'll only get shorter factory remote range on that -- you'll need to use new remote for longer range

Ask BB if that applies to your car

How does the installation work if I choose shipping? I live 45 mins away from the nearest store and would like to get it shipped to my home and then call and schedule a date that's convenient for me to have it installed.

I purchased this nearly two years ago. I had so many issues, like it would completely drain my battery, I ended up removing it. However, two months ago, I decided to reinstall it myself. Getting the install instructions for my car from the Weblink updater, I noticed the BB installers botched the install. There were wires hooked up that weren't supposed to be and some that should have been. Wires connected in the wrong location. Plus, the connections weren't soldered and merely held together using electrical tape. They also butchered some of my factory wires. Now, it works like it should and have had zero issues.
