I would recommend a panel saw over this (J/K). Just got the 10" model from amazon yesterday. Used it today. Was fantastic compared toy old Craftsman. I think as supply is thinning out we aren't going to see the greatest of prices for a while. Best luck to find one.

I have this saw and think it is thoughtfully made. The rack and pinion fence really sets it apart from most of the table saws out there. Unfortunately cut depth is not quite what you'll get with a 10" but think most of the 10" portable models are being phased out.

That said, this is not that great of a deal. Bought this for $300 about 1.5 years ago with a basic stand included. HD had this saw with the "premium" stand on sale for ~$360 in the last 2 months so I'd hold out for a better deal unless you need a table saw right now. If you do, it's hard to beat this table saw in this price bracket.

I have this saw and love it - this may sound weird, and maybe it is the case with all saws like this now a days, but the saw performs very well at low voltages (100 foot undersized extension cord from an outlet that is 100 feet from the panel). My old saw had a really tough time with this but this one doesn't. Maybe motors have just improved over time. Also, I don't normally run it in this condition, just wanted to note that it handles voltages < 110V pretty well.

They also often send HD card holders 10% off coupons as well.

Well, collapsible panel saws are lighter, safer, faster, and a ********* ton more $$ lol.

Or you could just hold the table saw in *both* hands and BOOM panel saw.

I've got the battery powered version and love it. Only complaint (and I'm not sure if this affects the corded version as well) is if you drop the cover over the on switch too fast, it triggers the emergency stop so you have to baby the cover when engaging

I'm a big fan of a track saw over these job site table saws if you're doing any sheet cutting. But I guess if you have to make a ton of small repeat cuts its worth it. Or maybe a bunch of ripping 2x4's but usually if you do this for a living its nothing to rip with a circular saw and most of the time they dont need to be perfect anyway.

I dont work in the trades so not sure what this is super useful for but I've done quite a bit and never really said... Hey I really wish I had a table saw with me but i not doing any carpentry beyond framing and moulding.

Now I use my full size shop table saw all the time for making cuts for various pieces I'm working on at home.

Edit: I guess if you have a tight space and need a table at home this works too. I've seen some cool folding mobile tables people make for these on youtube.

Does the 10 only come with the rolling stand? That's all I can seem to find.

That combo is on sale at Amazon for $533 LINK [amazon.com]. It's $600 at Home Depot.

Seems like a decent deal.
