I'm not seeing the details for how to "hack" this. No free tool offer so how do I get the price listed by OP? I'm interested in the installation driver

Agreed, I can't figure it out either, maybe you have to change to a certain (unspecified) store location that's showing a deal for the OP that we can't see in order to initiate the savings hack?

I don't know. I tried a bunch of battery packs and other tools, no joy. I don't think it actually works. Maybe there's something specific you can add to trick it but that tool isn't on a free tool promo right now according to the website, they do have a free tool promo for the driver still advertised in store but it doesn't work for me online.

I dunno. Maybe somebody will figure it out. I want the driver and a fuel 3/8 ratchet. Can't do the non fuel version because I'm using it for working on cars and I need the additional torque.

I'm a Bosch guy for 18v but I recently jumped into the Milwaukee 12v world as they have more to offer than Bosch does as far as variety goes.

What do you think the fuel ratchet would give you over the none fuel ratchet?

It's been tested and provides higher torque. It is a brushless motor on the fuel variants.

If you're going to invest, my opinion is to do it right the first time. The price difference between the two isn't staggering.

I opted for the none fuel due to the size. I don't know what testing you're referring to but it won't break a tight but loose unless it's super low torque the bigger head doesn't work for me in tfiht spaces at all.

I have both the fuel and non fuel version and I still use the non fuel version instead. . the size and weight etc is significant and when working on vehicles in tighter areas it just seemed to be a better fit that the fuel got used maybe 5 minutes and has sat in the tool box ever since

If you watch the popular YouTube mechanics they even use the non fuel version it appears ..

Great points. Also I want to add: a cordless ratchet is a nut runner. If anyone is actually looking for more torque they should get an impact wrench. More well spent money than a high torque ratchet. Heck, even Milwaukee recognized this and made their newest brushless ratchets with smaller profile at the expense of lower torque
