Good deal, this has been the previous Prime day and Black Friday price on the firestick 4K. Not sure what is different from the old 4k model besides the remote.

This 2021 version is identical to the previous 4k version except the new remote, which adds little value.

Yes they could be cheaper but before using firestick, i had used a variety of android boxes and all had remote connectivity issues.

Another feature that stands firestick out is the ability to speak and fill the search field which with amazon is extremely accurate. Android boxes even with voice remotes don't have that feature and are less accurate even with voice commands.

Where can I find more info on AV1 decoding? I have en eero pro 6 router so I'm already leaning towards the max model…

I thought we need hdmi2.1 for eArc to consume dolby atmos from the firestick..I might be wrong

Heads up on the audio pass through issue on the Firestick now. Kodi is no exception. Been a year and no solution in sight given Amazon's apparent deliberate crippling.
