Any advice whether I should keep the Dell or look to purchase this.
It would be used for office work and also Xbox Series X or PS5 - when I can finally get one.
I heard there was 1440p issues with the Dell and PS5?
I was using a 32" LG UltraGear 1440p but thought this might be better. It is so small compared to what I'm used to. This is compounded by the fact that there is a black border around the edge, touching the bezel, so it looks even smaller. You would expect the picture to go to the edge, but it does not. It's very noticeable and irritating.
The picture itself looks outstanding otherwise. It is very bright, and while only 8-bit HDR, it still comes to life. I had no issue installing OSD Sidekick and updating the monitor firmware. I have not tried the KVM feature yet (one reason I bought it) because it may be too small for my liking.
I think the LG I have is a VA panel which is why this appears to jump out in comparison. The real estate is great on that but the top corners are kinda dull. I think a curved 32" may be the way to go to keep the real estate but have a better viewing angle and less eye strain looking from corner to corner.

The VA panel UltraGear you have does not have the raised bezels but it does have a border around the screen. Most curved 32" monitors in the $300 range will be VA. How are the colors and brightness comparing the UltraGear to the Gigabyte??
Also Dell has way better RMA than Gigabyte's. If you have any issue with your monitor good luck going through Gigabyte.
