Honestly, do you think that if ALL of them took 2 minutes to start loading a file, the forum wouldn't be ablaze with hundreds of negative posts?
These drives perform as expected for USB external hard drives, sure the first access after it's put into sleep mode takes a few seconds for it to spin up the drive, but other than that it's performs as expected. I get transfers >140 MB/s regularly from my internal hard drive, but every once in a while when I plug it in to my USB, I just get 30MB/s tops, and on another USB 3.0 port it never gets above 30MB/s.
