Max is 120hz 1440p w/ latest update. No 4K is really holding me back on purchasing.
Cost way too much to not support 4K imo
Look I have a few problems with it after digging into it a bit more. A lot of people love it and just a few have problems with it. This is my use case:
1. It is not HDMI 2.1, forget gaming at 120Hz… I guess not a big deal for me, for many I'm sure it is
2. It is not Dolby Vision and HDR10+ compatible. It will be compatible with HDR10. I spent thousands on my Home theater and then for this devise not to support it? To me this is a a deal breaker. I do have a receiver with Zone 2 but explaining the wife the whole set up and switching of zone it's going to be a pain!
3. I heard one complaint (out of many YouTube videos) about the lights being a distraction when watching a movie. This was my thought too and could be a deal breaker, I won't know until setup.
4. You need a Hub/Bridge + Sync Box + the Gradient light; after taxes and possible shipping that's $600+.
Aesthetically it looks great on video…but that's it. Honestly, after further review I feel like canceling my order. If anyone can correct anything I said I'm open for setup suggestions.

Ive been looking at the 75 inch strip as well, but I'm debating running it from my pc that is already connected to my dvr/tv, which would mean I don't need the sync box, and I can play all of my pc games at 4k 120 without a problem, at least until they release a hdmi 2.1 sync box.
the idiots at local BB fulfilled my instore pick-up order with a openbox hue box...... when questioned the manager gave me $10 back... that's nuts..... i took it because there are no hue boxes available in 250 mile radius..
to give $10 back, he did refund the box on original order and rerang it at 173.99... my original order shows - box returned... and strip is the only one remaining in that order and is at discounted price....
