Careful.... this is NOT the same one from Amazon or Western Digital (1050MB/s). This is the older version with half the speed 520.0 megabytes per second.....

Good catch. This does appear to be a newer design but it has past-gen speeds.

Costco has the better-spec 2tb for $200 right now. That is the better buy.
