It's big and heavy, one of the reviews was saying 'Very Heavy (over 33 pounds with power supply).', I need a compact and light case, but this is really a good deal over all.
Reverse ATX even. Looks like a solid deal to me.
Bought this last time this deal came up. Very solid case, clean cable management and removable window on the right side.
Syncro fans are very nice and are basically the same as the high end noctuas.
One of the fans was broken though and Seasonic customer care took care of it and overnight shipped a replacement.

I hear you, my PC already feels heavy enough when I take it on my daily commute on the bus but I just think of it as my workout.

Well, I have a mid tower desktop already, so I prefer to build the 2nd desktop right next to it to be smaller and lighter. Technology is evolving to make size smaller and weight lighter, not the other way around.

I'd be all over this if it came in white, but Seasonic doesn't make it in white. Grr.

Great case. This case is on sale with either the 650, 750, 850 most of the time, but I do think this is a new low.
One thing to note is that the 850 is Platinum while the 650 and 750 are Gold.
Also, I wouldn't mine with this. Seasonic specifically says as much. The way power is converted and the cable design really aren't meant for 24/7 operation.

750W not enough. Can't substitute for the 850W? Do I gotta pay full price?

Maybe I'm missing something, but to me the design of the PSU seems over-engineered. Yes, it is definitely an interesting design no doubt. But it seems like it would introduce a single point of failure if the power cable module would fail.

Where does Seasonic mention this? They build everything like tanks so i'd be very surprised if that's true. Also the 3.3 and 5v is converted, 12v isn't. 3.3 and 5v isn't really used much nowadays.

It's in their manual for the power supply.
That's what I mean. The hub where the power is converted or just distributed is passive. I think it's rated for 40 degrees if I remember correctly.

edit: by passive I meant passively cooled. Admittedly not a lot of heat generated in this process

Just wait. As long as they don't sell out of the case they will almost certainly have the case+850 on sale at some point soon.

The hub doesn't convert power. It reroutes power. It should never get hot at all unless you are drawing too much juice or have a bad connection.

The hub (Connect module) converts 12v to +3.3v and +5v for devices that need it.

It's the connect module. Most bizarre psu I've ever seen

Says it's to reduce clutter. By making more clutter I guess. Just get the case you want and a modular psu

Is the reverse also true? I want to keep my 850W corsair RM850 PSU and hook it up to this case. Any cable length issues?

You can actually use any power supply with this case as long as your cable lengths work. If you look at the manual, it'll show you to run the wires through the connect hub placeholder piece.

That indentation on the left side of the case in the first pic is it. It has its own cooling window.
