The 8's were going out of stock so fast on BF. They finally showed up in stock on WD site. Hurried up and ordered 3 of them. A couple of hours later Best Buy put them on sale but it was too late to cancel. I received the drives the other day and this is how they packaged them:

One drive was bad so I told them I wanted all 3 replaced because I didn't trust them. Who would package hard drives like that? Especially a hard drive company. Now they are out of stock and I have to wait. Best Buy is back to normal price so I have no choice but we wait. This sucks as I wanted to build the array so I could work on it this weekend. It could be a month before I get my drives.

You are incorrect. I bought 4x WD Red PLUS 6TB from Adorama for Black Friday. Short lived, but it was a live deal.

I like the deal when this was about 90 a week ago.. but still a good deal if you are in this HD size/range.

That was not the red plus, different classes of drives. This matches the low for this product on black friday which was the low for the product overall.

Same here, like the one that Best buy had for around $155 (7200 RPM).
