It says "used acceptable" but I have had instances where the item arrived brand new and sealed, and then had "mint" or "like new" items arrive broken , missing etc.. It is totally random and sometimes you win the lottery.

Enjoy!

I use warehouse deals alot but never for routers and modems. In my day I've bought quite a few routers that have turned out to be buggy that I returned. I imagine many of these routers on warehouse deals are problematic which is why there always seems to be a high number available and at a steep discount.

Good price. Thumbs up. I have an ASUS AC86U I got off the warehouse and it has performed well.

I have received brand new and sealed items before (both routers and other items) and other items. It is incredibly arbitrary and always fun to see what you are going to get. Thankfully they have an excellent return policy!

If possible, I always buy at least two of whatever used item, that way I can keep the best and return the rest.

R6230 were $2.xx for a few hours yesterday. I already have a stack from a previous price dip.

I'm surprised you've gotten brand new items under acceptable condition since usually there are very specific descriptions of the condition of the item including scratches and whether it comes with the original box or not. Did the items you bought have descriptions detailing damage. I've received new items under like new but never under acceptable.

Used to get warehouse stuff all the time but they tend to be on the bad side. They tend to come in the condition described for my purchases, with some exceptions. My problem is that they tend to be missing something or have issues. My biggest issue is getting a Mexican phone. Wouldn't have minded too much cause you can switch language but stuff like Google Pay wouldn't work so that was the deal breaker.

If you have the time it might be "fun" to try but going out and returning them is a hassle in my opinion and very much a waste of my time. I stopped buying warehouse for these reasons as 70% of the time I'd be returning the item

Yea I have learned to ignore the descriptions now. It does not seem to correspond at all , at least in my experience. I have received brand new and sealed items for both acceptable, as well as like new. I have noticed that I have had good luck with high end electronics for some reason, in the acceptable category.

For instance, I bought this item [amazon.com] in used acceptable condition the other day for like $10, and it arrived brand new. The box was a bit beat up, so maybe that is the "scuffs" they refer to? A majority of the time, it is the packaging itself that might have scuffs, but the product is brand new.

I like the thrill of buying things on the warehouse personally. It is a pseudo hobby for me i guess. But you do tend to collect a bunch of stuff over time, lol. Thank god for my yearly garage sale!
