Not THX certified unlike the Costco set that goes on sale often for 70-80$

These were pretty trash, my friend gave his away within the month and bought Jamo bookshelves, sub and a little amp. More money, but SO much better sounding.
Last time this was posted I saw a review the Bluetooth was hard to secure and keep strangers off, but in that videos comments others said there is a way to turn off BT discovery. Either way I wouldn't recommend these.

And then I have a Promedia set thats rated Thx for $400 back in the hey day. But then the Ultras came out.
Klipsch 5.1 Ultra's were not THX certified but then, The Klipsch Promedia 5.1's were. The Ultras blew the promedias out of the way.
BUT
What do you think is better, a $50,000 set of speakers with award winning reviews, blowing away stereophiles or home theatres or a set of $400 with a Thx certification??
This has been thoroughly debunked over decades.
the Thx cert for media speakers means A- ZERO, nada, nothing.
That's hilarious...what a fail by Klipsch

I can't really speak to sound, but our memories of what something sounded like 15 years ago isn't great and the competitive landscape for alternatives looks a lot different now.
Oh and to those of you asking, THX is a cash grab invented by George Lucas. It's nothing more and should never be used to evaluate anything. By spreading the notion that it represents quality in the slightest is buying into needless added design costs that are then passed on to the customer. So please stop.
