When I can get a brand new one for $15 it's hard to justify hassle of recharging, and I don't know what the costs are

These are small but better than nothing.
Seeing the quality of new merchandise these days, I would day that an old one is better built.
In fact, that is where I was when I posted the deal. Was looking for some stuff in Lowes and stumbled on these. Decided to post the deal from my phone and include the online link. (Funny enough the price in my store was actually $15.49)
Maybe you are signed into a Pro account, where they do show $29.52, but you can order online.
If so, log out, clear cookies and try regular Lowes that is in store only.
