The link is a VA panel. From the info I've seen, pretty much all VA panels have bad black to gray times causing noticeable smearing. The only exception is the Samsung g7, g9 panels. So the LG nano ips are noticeably clearer but sacrificing contrast. For gaming purposes the ips panel is the better choice when concerned with high refresh rate
Why peoples still buying 2K monitor? 4K should be the norm now...as we starting to enter 8K realm.
They still tend to be pricey. For myself as a casual gamer, don't think I could tell a difference between 4k and FHD at 24 inches. I am okay to spring as I did a little more for QHD on a decent QHD monitor with decent refresh rate.

4K res at high fps requires a very beefy gpu, which is not accessible by most due to supply AND price. 1440p with high refresh is the best balance of quality/performance/price.
I compared this monitor with LG GP850. 21DGF has a better build and ergonomics, and the light bleed control is far better than GP850 (YMMV). The installation process is a breeze for 21DGF. However GP850 shines at its HDR mode. 21DGF can't seem to adjust the brightness in HDR mode and the color is simply not as good as GP850. I didn't expect this because I thought HDR should be great on both units for average users according to some reviews, but it is actually night and day difference to me.
