I just ordered from eBay. I know purchase from Amazon is better but the 20% (15% from eBay + 5% from Chase Freedom) price discounted is so tempting. I ordered few times from this seller before, so I think it will be ok.

This is a great "portable" planer! I've used mine for 2 years in a variety of wood including a lot of gnarly reclaimed wood.

Works great, easy to adjust and replace blades. The only thing I've noticed is that the shavings can get jammed if you are doing high volume.

Highly recommend for job site or at home amateur!

The company selling it has some spotty reviews mainly due to poor customer service. It is maxtools dot com if you want to look up their reviews. Same company as factory outlet which is their eBay name. But for $477 out the door I gambled on the eBay one…

I didn't get it down to THAT low, but, the price was good compared to everywhere else. I looked at the reviews on ebay and figured it would be fine. Fingers crossed. Ours is supposed to be here Thursday so I'll know soon I guess.

Absolutely love mine, but this is a gateway to your first dust collector. Building a massive entertainment center and I've filled 4 bags so far, with the planer being the largest contributor.

This is a fantastic price on a great tool.
