As far as CPU goes...yes, it is a great processor. I'd say being able to hold its own against the M1 chips from Apple is a decent start. But again, please feel free to share your own wisdom other than just ignorant blanket statements:

And yes, this deal that makes popular or front page continuously must mean it has no value or not considered a deal. Since you fail at reading comprehension, I will say that the last statement is full of sarcasm.
This is sleek, looks like it can fit in an office and is an excellent media and productivity device. The CPU is wicked fast, and when I do want to play games on this I have a great time. Forza 5 horizon I can get 90 fps with decent settings that still look gorgeous on this display. On modern warfare I can get 100-115 fps with medium/high.
For those interested, don't let the trolls deter you. If you want a "do it all" type of device, this is it. I've owned Razer Blades, Macbook Pros, etc. This has been my favorite laptop so far of all time. Basically, if you're a gamer sweat only, don't get this. If you're a casual gamer or even more than that, and want an ultraportable that really does check a lot of boxes, this is it. For this price you can do far worse.
CES in a few days , so if anyone wants to wait and see what's coming this year.

CES is taking place today and there's already manufacturers that are announcing their newest laptops that come with the new AMD processors, they do have a better iGPU but still won't come close to this DGPU. They might bring other goodies of which I'm not sure how much they tip the balance.
The successor to this laptop was just announced and it's actually a tablet with an intel processor with iGPU and can be configured with 3050 TI, so I bet the base model will replace this pricepoint and then the DGPU version will cost a bit more.

The one you mention is definitely suited for more gamer attributes. That said you're not getting 1TB ssd with the Acer, which imo is a big miss on any gamer laptop these days given file sizes and the OS itself.
Also at 1080p on a larger 15.6 display you'll lose sharpness and pixels per inch. The Asus has a smaller display AND higher resolution so you get sharpness at an increased level in both ways. Personally that is worth the tradeoff for 144hz vs 120hz. Not sure if the Acer has touch but I doubt it. With the Asus you get touch and convertible design. Overall at the same price the Asus is the winner imo UNLESS you care strictly about gaming only, then the 3060 is more preferable. But again I think the display is going to be better on the Asus and ultimately that's the thing you'll be staring at the most. Imo if you're looking at this larger class of laptops you should consider the Asus Rog 14 inch, which can be found with deals pretty often lately at this price point or even lower.

Thank you very much. I'll checkout the model you mentioned and do some comparing. I was looking at this more for a stationary type "desktop" but be able to pick it up and move it around if necessary. Thanks!!
