Most people that purchased a refurb have noted the same thing. At the end of the day the difference is that this one is labeled new and the other ones are label refurb. That is the biggest difference accounting for the differentiation and price.

My refurbished unit from DJI on Black Friday is in perfect condition, sealed box, appears to be totally brand new, and has factory warranty. I was even able to purchase the official DJI Care Refresh policy with it for $40.

I am not sure I would get a regular Mini at any price. The Mini 2 has so much more range.

Excellent drone but my only problem is the video transmission range really suffers compared to my Mavic Pro. It might be better in a more remote area with less wifi interference then my neighborhood has. I get frequent disconnections. I've have it cut out at like 350ft altitude before.

I've purchased the mini2 combo, and had some shipping problems with them. It showed delivered but nothing was delivered. So I filled a PayPal claim , and mysteriously the package arrived a week later. Go figures…
I thought I've lost my money, and that was over $400!

The mini is my first drone. Its kind of cool but not sure that with the amount of time I'll spend with it, will justify 2X the price for a mini 2

Not just that but no obstacle avoidance with such a small drone with lower distance is a nightmare

If it seems too good to be true it probably is
