It is. And that's correct. This deal has been on and off since the beginning of this month. I got one. Floodlight works very well actually.
If anyone is on the fence about buying it, starting February 12th you will no longer get free 12 second recording to the their cloud unless you pay for it. If you buy before then, you can opt in for free with any Wyze camera you have.

Use local SD storage and it's unlimited. You know of any cam that gives you unlimited cloud storage for free?

I'm skipping Wyze now, I don't really trust them to support these fully into the future. I am not looking to change security cameras often as they take features away.

The V3 camera is not as good as the one I pre-ordered when it just came out. The connection is slow, way too slow compared to my old V3.

The light is essential useless, the picture quality is worse than with out it.

Since it's still not onvif compliant. I'm out. These closed system cameras that are not compatible with everything else are just a money grab. They control what you can do when they want you to and you have no recourse.

Yes, you can use microSD cards. I just feel like it's nice to have the free cloud backup. What if t someone rips the camera and takes it with them. Then you have nothing. With the cloud, you would at least have 12 seconds of footage.

Thats how I understand it. Any camera you activate before the 12th will have free cloud and person detection. It's worded really confusing, so there may be a chance to still activate it for free after, but I'm just not sure how they will handle it.​

It's 2 orders. My V3 came first, and then the spotlight came right after. Wyze DOES sell the spotlight and camera together, but it's not on Amazon.

I ordered the combo at the $35 price, they both came in the same package. Then I returned the spotlight for a refund of $11, making the V3 camera just $24 in the end. I'm going to replace a V2 camera and see what the difference is like.

I replaced a v2 cam with this one. Installed it in exactly the same place. The color night vision is awesome, but the connectivity leaves much more to be desired. I never had stability issues with the v2, but this one seems to go offline every 30 minutes or so, and the only way to get it back online is to unplug it.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues?
