Think of the Powerstack batteries as high output compact batteries. Some tools benefit from high output batteries and compact high output batteries are nice to have around. My best example is the new compact impact wrenches. My first try with the wrench wasn't amazing since the battery was hanging as far out as a short socket. This is now not the case with the Compact powerstacks. I will get full power with the powerstack compared to the regular compact batteries.

I was able to make this deal a bit slicker. Home Depot has the double pack of batteries on a special buy for $179. Lowes.com chat customer service price matched HomeDepot.com and still honored the free tool deal. Overall I got the double pack of batteries and a brushless jigsaw for $179 with free store pickup at a local Lowe's. Good luck everybody!

Trying something out--

Ordered 5 different tools + batteries. I'll try my luck with FB reselling some combination of them until I break even and keep the rest. Also got 5% off from lowe's card, so 1,023.23 out the door. All available for pickup 5 minutes away.

I'll see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, I return them. Who knows, maybe I can rinse and repeat... (While supplies last. Offer valid 1/31/22 - 5/1/22.)

What's the deal with these so-called PowerStack batteries? Regular price of $189 seems high, especially consider it's 1.7Ah. At that price I would expect something like 2x5Ah.
Did someone use this PS battery before? How long does it last compared to a regular 2Ah? Realistically would you expect a 1.7Ah battery to last as long as, say, a regular 4Ah?
