Just a heads-up -- this iteration of the Boston is considerably heavier than the prior ones. (Point of reference: Each shoe is about 12.5 oz at Size 12 vs. 9.9 oz at Size 12 for the Boston 7s)

I'll try a pair. I had several versions ago (maybe the 5?) an they fit really small and I didn't care for them but it sounds like these are a lot different and suited for the mix of easy and speed work I'll be using them for.

These Boston's aren't for everyone. I tried and they are pretty firm due to the rods in the sole. They do have that bounce if you run but are a bit heavier. You will either love them or will hate them. Didn't suit me so I returned.
