U8H (mini LED) is coming this summer, also available in 75". $1000 for 55", $1250 for 65", $1500 for 75".

Might want to wait to see that one reviewed unless you need one now.

I have the U8G 65" & it's a good TV, but requires a lot of tweaking. If you don't want to mess with settings for day vs. night viewing, gaming, etc, it might not be for you. It's not a set it & forget it TV.

This will eventually become a name brand. Just like Samsung did decades ago. Hisense has been bringing up great TVs and the U8G is amazing for the price. Gaming and movies are beautiful. No need to spend an extra $600 on OLED unless you have that type of cash laying around.

Sorry to say, this isn't a slickdeal. It's been at the $1K mark numerous times. Best Buy has been alternating their prices every couple weeks. I bought it at $1K cuz I had a $100 dollar BB gift card and I didn't want to wait any longer, but it has been as low as $900 a few months back. Nonetheless, it's an awesome TV.
