It is in essence expired because most people are getting Shipping Restrictions error when they try to checkout.

Thanks for this. After careful consideration, this would be a great value at this price point over the u8h (now in stock at best buy.com) but considering Newegg and extended replacement? Anything I don't like about this would be a "stuck with it" kinda thing.

If it was a solid tried and true c/b2 LG, sure. What risk? But this would not give me peace of mind.

Also, the u8h will probably be lower than now from what I have seen on Slickdeals trends for the u8g in just a few months (4 months)

I bit the bullet and did it. Fyi just so everyone knows, even though the delivery date is dec 6, it will instantly say it's being packed and not let you cancel. I know bc I got curious and checked 😆

after putting all kinds of infor to get a price, 'can not be shipped'
wont be looking at newegg tp shop after that.
was not serious in buying anyways.

I wonder what determines this outcome? Especially for the people in Florida since it ships from Florida...I'm in the west coast and was able to place an order for one go figure 🤷🏽 ♂️

It's a good price for this TV though it's a shame that everyone's having a problem with the shipping and checking out. I ended up going with the Sony last night at Walmart OLED I think that was a really good deal for the type of TV It is. But this is a very high rated TV also. Good luck everyone

Just curious, how does everyone like Android TVs over Google or Roku? I have mostly Apple products, so I don't think I have much connectivity with Android or Google (although I still use Google Maps, Photos, Drive, etc) and the Roku feels familiar to me because we used to have an actual Roku. I'm happy with our U6GR, but still willing to return while I can if a better deal comes up, I just don't want to regret jumping over to a different operating system if one is better than the other.

I like Google TV over Roku because it has Chromecast from my phone (meaning I can easily stream audio/video from my Pixel phone to it). Also, I can sideload Android apps to it, nice for modified versions of YouTube. Google TV is just an upgraded version of Android TV by the way. I use a soundbar/streaming stick which should be more powerful than the built in TV processor but it was my understanding Roku TV operating system is more efficient and less laggy

The Roku tv has AirPlay, which works for mirroring my iPhone, I'm sure Android and Google aren't going to support that!
