Better to just wait for Costco to put the Deco X60 on sale for this same price, which they have done quite a few times.

I just buy the nighthawk mesh at costco it on sale right now. Work great if you on budget should buy it. I think 160usd is the sale price.

X60 has 4 streams on its 5 GHz band; X20 only has 2 streams on it.
Both have 2 streams on their 2.4 GHz band.
So in terms of total concurrent streams, X60 has 6, while X20 only has 4.
X60 has a total rating of 3000 (hence its alternate name of AX3000); X20 only has a total rating of 1800 (hence its alternate name of AX1800).
X60 has 4 antennas; X20 only has 2.

Rating simply refers to the "total" "theoretical" Mbps speeds a router can provide, based on the sum of its bands. I used those "quotes" in there for a reason.

For instance, for the Deco X60, the 2.4 GHz band has a theoretical max of 574 Mbps, and its 5 GHz band has a theoretical max of 2,402 Mbps (the reason I used those quotes is that these speeds will never actually be achieved in the real world; it's essentially just a high-number marketing tactic to make the product seem way better than it actually is). The total of 574 and 2,402 is 2,976, which they just round up to 3000 and use that number for marketing ("AX3000").

Similarly, for the Deco X20, the 2.4 GHz band has a theoretical max of 575 Mbps, and its 5 GHz band has a theoretical max of 1,200 Mbps. The total of 575 and 1,200 is 1,775, which they just round up to 1800 and use that number for marketing ("AX1800").

It does, thanks a ton! Also shopping tp-link access points it makes a bit more sense, they rate them at AC1200 or AC450. So while the absolute values might not be true comparisons their relative values are interesting to me.
