Costco is going to have TP-Link Deco AXE5300 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh System for $270 from Nov 24th. Model number is different because it was specifically for Costco otherwise it's same as AXE5400.
Unfortunately the dummies out majority the non-dummies.
I have Deco 5400 WiFi 6E mesh system. Incredible speed throughput and very fast backhaul over 6Ghz wireless connection. Covers my entire house and the backyard with speeds not diminishing over 70 feet from the nearest node. The only con is that management of the router was definitely designed for dummies. The only place to manage the system is in the Deco app and advanced administration is lacking compared to traditional WiFi routers.

I haven't used any of these. What would be best for three story 4,000sq with 7 people? Lots of connected devices.

5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch, Quiet Fanless Design, Shielded Ports, QoS (TL-SG105) $15.99 (reg. $17.99)

I bought this for $15.99 on October 24th and last year in January. It has been same price always. Dont look like sale price.

AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Extender, Up to 1,500 Sq. Ft. and 25 Devices (RE315) $33.49 (reg. $44.99)

I bought this for $25 as lightening deal.

Is there anything in here that is modem + wifi router combo? Minimal devices, pretty basic usage, but our setup is 10 years old and a deal would make a good time to upgrade, but I know nothing about this stuff.

These are likely going to continue to be on sale as TP Link announced new wifi 7 routers.

Of course nobody has wifi 7 capable devices yet, but those who want to futureproof might want to wait, and those looking for a deal might want to snatch up the remaining wifi 6 devices.

Looks great but I'm holding out for something with at least 9 antennas.

Can anyone weigh in on the range extenders? I have a wifi6 mesh network that covers my entire house, but dies immediately outside the house and I'm hoping to extend the network to my garage

I gave up on having the router and wifi/mesh integrated together early in lockdown and went with a small business router (Ubiq ER-X) and TP-Link Omada wifi. No more problems with wifi coverage, speed, rebooting the router, etc when things go wrong. Small routers are powerful and inexpensive and add a layer of functionality not possible with most home-use all-in-ones. If you have alot of devices I recommend looking into it.

Do any of these allow for 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz signals to have different names? I have the Google mesh and with SSID now allowance for naming the networks differently.

Deco units have one combined SSID for 2.4 and 5 Ghz spectrums and a separate SSID for 6 Ghz.
