Not really a wifi guru but was experiencing issues with the Comcast router and extender packs. Ring devices would randomly drop off the network and other definitely devices would loose connection randomly. Decided to give this a shot and disable the Comcast router wifi. it has been great so far, no issues.

If you are connecting the decos to each other via wifi, then keep the M9. They are tri-band where one of the bands is used for that connection. If they are connected via ethernet then I would go with the X60.

I am currently using two Deco M9's one is connected straight to the wall with Google fiber and the other one is Wifi( a PS4 connected to that Deco), I also have a Plex server connected via powerline adaptor from the main Deco.
This is for my house, my idea is a similar set up but I have a lot of IoT devices(cameras, Google Max, Google minis, lights, hue lights, etc).
wonder if it is helpful to get the Wifi6 now or wait until is fully cooked.

Wifi 6 is already 90% fully "cooked" as you put it. OFDMA still needs some work but the main benefits of more throughput and speed over wireless is fully achieved.

Depending how much you want to spend you can save yourself $100 on a 2pack of the brand new AX5700 at costco for $300. They currently smoke any Wifi 6 mesh and almost all high end routers including the $500+ guys. Once the $100 manufacture rebate goes away it will be a sad time cause it literally is looking like the best system on the market right now.

If you have 3,000 sq ft house or smaller, I'd just get the 2pack which is called W3600? (2 deco x20's instead of 3). They are brand new on ebay for around $90 shipped. The speed is pretty fast, doubled my speed coming from the tmobile AC68U. I found the primary deco connected to the modem seemed to have better speed for whatever reason, but the secondary deco wasn't too far behind. (over 400 mbps and I only paid for 400mbps on spectrum)

thank you for the info, I checked the TP-Link AX5700, I wonder why the 3.7 rating? I might return the M9's to Costco and wait till BF and see what is discounted, I currently have 3-4 Asus RT-68u's on a Mesh that I can use.

Primarily users who know nothing about what they are buying, if you go through the thread I identify why the lower rating. Most of it is cause users expected a router type interface where you can make many adjustments. No mesh allows this besides AiMesh.... Also if you look at the X90 which is almost identical hardware all 4-5 stars on other websites and great reviews, so costco is the one off cause of uneducated users.

The only issue that might be an issue is with the 2nd satellite disconnecting from the mesh but that's hard to say is a problem for sure just something I saw that could possible be a trend and a real issue.

Thats also discussed in the thread.

I would not wait to long once the $100 instant manufacture rebate goes away back up to $400 and since these are better than even $500+ system I doubt there will be a better price on BF. My system gets delivered tomorrow.

So the AX5700 are a better choice than the Netgear options at Costco that also have the rebate?

Isn't the X60 3-pack at Costco that was on sale for $170 last week or so a much better deal?

Yes they are the fastest wifi 6 on the market right now, I have not compared them to the new Wifi 6E but those are $800...... lol. Remember you only get 2 but they should cover a decent sized house.

The X5700s almost double up in throughput compared to the 850/750s from orbis and they cost a lot more money. We are talking 1400Mbps speeds at close range compared to 900Mbps at close range on the orbis big difference, with proper clients offcourse. They fully take advantage of a 1Gbps fiber connection which prior to these units only single router solutions have been able to do and the X90 from Tplink which is a slight step up over the X5700 but you wont see any real difference performance wise.
