If you're thinking about getting the OLED, it's worth the price. Not getting any cheaper. I've had my OLED since launch, and aside from a couple minor complaints regarding quality control, it's excellent.

Until Nintendo feels the pressure of the Stream Deck....
Steam Deck is much heavier and bulkier at 1.47lbs, is meant to be completely portable rather than a "hybrid", does not legally play first party Nintendo Switch games, or at the very least is "gray" in that area, and has no detachable joycons.

The only advantage is if you are using the handheld as thats where the OLED screen would make it more crispy clear as opposed playing on console.
Buying the OLED Switch just to play via dock mode make ZERO sense. increase storage capacity is a joke, and so is the Ethernet port and kickstand.
All is that for $380 after tax? No thanks!
One could argue about trading it in at GS for $ back and or sell privately but that already at negative equity after paying for one from the first place. Then spend more to get the "upgrade". Not wise IMO but i don't get to dictate other people choice so whatever.
