They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)
Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.
So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Also, this sim card will work on other mobile hotspots too as long as you know how to change the settings

More info:
Plugged the TMOHS1 into my Gl.inet Mango, and it's unthrottled. Popped the SIM into my A7 Lite tablet, and it's unthrottled.
So basically, tethered to a Mango router you'll get unlimited. Same in the tablet itself. Not so much in the TMOHS1 natively.
What type of speed are you seeing when tethered via the GI.inet Mango? Do you see 5G or 5G UC on the TMOHS1?
Thx.

Native Hotspot from tablet is full speed right? I am gonna keep it for Hurricane emergency. I am from New Orleans and last year we had no power for like 10 days, most cell towers were town too cause towers also have no power, i think T-Mobile was running their towers with like generators. Still somehow booked hotel in Alabama with my moms T-Mobile phone and went there. I was using my ATT tablet sim in hotspot, it was very helpful.
- tested my Verizon 5G hotspot data plan = 370 down / 68.4 up (cellular bars show 5G symbol)
- (previously my Inseego 8800L pulled = 126 down / 59.8 up on 4G LTE)
- tested the new T-Mobile Magenta Promo unlimited 5G/LTE tablet data plan sim => confirmed the Verizon Inseego M2100 allowed it, meaning these hotspots are still coming from Verizon unlocked
- T-Mobile Magenta tablet data SIM = 80.5 down / 8.03 up (cellular bars showed 5G) (was hoping to see higher speeds based on someone's test in the iPhone 13 with 5G UW)
- (Previous test of the T-Mobile SIM in the Inseego 8800L = 32.8 down / 9.08 up)
* these tests were done near a window on the second floor of my home in San Francisco, CA
@lovebeta: You made a great point about the Verizon hotspot not supporting n41 hence no 5G UC for the fastest speeds.
Unfortunately, I don't have any 5G capable Android phone with EasyTether to test. So far, using the TMOHS1 and USB Tethering to a FreshTomato router works well for my needs and doesn't use Hotspot Data.
Appreciate the reply..... Sounds like it's possible to get full 5G or possibly even 5G UC with a used Inseego M2000 from ebay. Doing some research..... š¤
Still, at $10/month, I am considering getting a second SIM just to hold onto for a future tablet or second hotspot or computer one day. I'm going to keep my $20/month (20GB) Verizon 5G hotspot data plan for my actual remote work. (I don't plan on using my hotspot for home internet.)

The hotspot data used was with hotspot through the tablet and using the TMOHS1 wifi.
