Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it

Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

I would like to make a correction. I have just discovered that the new TMOHS1 hotspot is also hackable:

I have not tested this method because I do not have the TMOHS1 hotspot. I see one advantage of this hacking is that it can mask "all outgoing data as "on-device" rather than hotspot data"

How he added? the reps I talked to he said he tried to add but it did not take the code. He asked where I got the code from?
He never gave me specifics, but would only say that there are correct and incorrect ways to do it, and only the correct way works. I had the same experience with the prior reps, who swore it was on my account and they could see the code on my account in their system and had no idea why I wasn't getting the higher speeds on my device. They were saying they needed to escalate my issue as a technical glitch and that I'd get a callback in 3-5 *days*!

When I heard that, I just thanked them and called back and got lucky enough to find a rep who knew what he was doing. For what it's worth, every rep I talked to seemed to be overseas, so clear communication was always quite a challenge.

What number did you call and what department did you ask for?

Was she in technical support department?

I called 611 and then said "business". Should be a regular business rep.

It's rep roulette. Nothing different from the previous years of sprint/T-Mobile. Always a headache, always different answers. It's a lot of luck mixed with a little bit of kindness when calling them.

can someone provide me some advise or guideline please?
I was able to set up the account,
ordered the tablet with megenta plan, signed EIP and placed the order.
tablet is in backorder now, so it won't be shipped out until 4/18-5/02.
and of course didn't see any monthly credit for the tablet.

my question is, will my sim arrive first?
i actually just want the plan with sim, no need for tablet,
is it better to wait for me to receive the tablet and return it but EIP was signed and down payment is charged! or is it better to wait for tablet arrived and ask TMobile if it can get free tablet promo to apply (even have to change the TI to TE plan later, or just gamble to see any tmo agent will be able to apply the free tablet promo to my magenta plan at all?)

thanks a lot

Based on someone else's experience -

1. Have the rep add a voice line on the business account
2. TI plan will show , select that and then remove the voice line
3. Add tablet as separate transaction i think.

Our business account already has the max 10 lines. I wonder if that's the problem? But I know our previous rep said we could add four additional data devices

Thanks for sharing the info! Glad it worked as we talked about this topic two weeks ago. Which band to use depends really on the tower near you. It is always good to check before changing.
Saw someone's post got 80+ down with TMOHS1. T9 should use the same lte modem. Only got 35 max, tried all the band support. Sim on iPhone 13 can get 500+ with 5GUC. Maybe because T-mobile in my area cap all lte speed for it's Home internet.

side note, he said the A7 LITE promo ended yesterday. But would give me the S7 50% off. which i would takeApplause
