Fantastic! Thanks for posting, OP. The original for my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina is on its way out. Laptop still going plenty strong, excited to find a replacement charger from Apple on Amazon for so cheap!
This power adapter was $7 in most Walmart stores, and I still occasionally see then in stock.
Are you sure it's a genuine Apple product for $7? Unlike other power bricks, there are huge differences between genuine and 3rd party in this case. There are lots of website that shows pictures and discuss why.

Probably referring to a Walmart clearance deal. Hard to find, but when you do they re f*cking amazing. I snagged Apple 29W USB-C adapters for ~$12 each at a Walmart a couple years ago.
There are plenty of USBC female to MagSafe adaptors nowadays so you don't have to keep multiple power bricks and take advantage of the GaN chargers with c-to-c cables. Can't vouch for its safety or longevity though so use your judgment.
There are some reviews on amazon stating this is not genuine Apple adapter. It even includes teardown.
But it's Amazon, so who knows... Might have been a rogue seller.
Tons on eBay for under $30 new and many more used for 10-20. All chargers is best gotten on eBay... Always MUCH cheaper and never had a bad experience. Bought many over the years, all OEM, some new, some used and all still working
