I bought this TV during BestBuy's Black Friday 2021 sale for a very similar price. Great picture for the price point; 120Hz native with VRR/HDMI 2.1 makes it a great partner to my PC for gaming. Note that the software has improved dramatically over my ownership (i.e., it is no longer sluggish, crash-prone, etc). Only recent negative is that Apple pulled the ability to purchase/rent movies from the Apple TV app (always drama with Apple, Google et al).

I have a A4 Hisense that I got for the kids play room. Have a Xbox series x on it that I personally have been using a lot more recently. Been looking at an upgrade. This worth it?

I have (had) the Roku version of this and highly recommend. My damn kids broke it last week and I'm pretty upset. You will not be disappointed with the TCL 6 series, it's amazing.

That's a bummer. Kind of why I'm not splurging on the 55 C1 deals going on. Don't trust my kids around OLED yet. Haha

Ive heard the the tcl6 is similar to the u7g.

I have the 65" version of this paired with a ps5 and its been great. I don't use the stock operating system. I use a firestick 4K max.

I've the 75 inch model of this and at first was very bad. Did a few updates no better. Full factory reset done after all the updates then it was night and day. No regrets now.
