Of course, you can just always plug in a Roku or something and use that exclusively. I actually prefer the Google interface. Much more modern and relevant.

I was very hesitant about purchasing this because of all the bad reviews however I figured at this price I could just let it set for 2-3 months until Google updates the firmware with the needed fixes.
Between their unpredictable price fluctuations, inflated MSRPs, and getting rid of their "Elite" and "Elite Plus" membership tiers in an attempt to steer people towards their $200/year "TotalTech" subscription, I think I'm finally ready to give up on Best Buy altogether.
It seems like they're heading towards the great big box retailer graveyard. Circuit City should have been a wake-up call for them, but clearly they haven't learned a thing.

Lower stock right now, likely due to the fact that it was a DotD yesterday...for $40 more. Really hope that they would automatically credit anyone who bought it then, but it's highly unlikely.
Lowest I've seen for the 65" was $899 around BF. Although, you can occasionally find deals on open box units for $799 in "Excellent" condition.
Definitely a great deal, especially for a QLED 4K TV with local dimming zones, VRR, both HDR formats, and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Even better if you can score an open box model.

These are being clearanced out and I would not rely on any big software updates at this point.
Outside of the software concerns I do think they're great sets for the money. PQ is about as good as it makes sense to pay for to me before you jump to oled. Nice open box deal would be hot.
