I have the s4 max that I got on a Amazon deal last thanksgiving new for $280. I have a second floor and would like one with the mop feature. Which is the roborock model to get?

S6 is quieter than s5 max but s5 max holds twice the water of the s6... Otherwise they are very much the same vacuum it seems.
I have the e35 upstairs and the s4 downstairs and bought the s6 to replace downstairs (since s4 I have doesn't have mopping) and s4 will replace the e35 since the e35 doesn't have a decent mapping feature (doesn't have lidar). probably will give the e35 to my parents.
Just curious how clean or dirty do these refurbished units come? Also which one of these is the best vacuum, won't be using the mopping function. I like the s6 maxv but is it worth a little extra? Maybe I should go for a refurbished S7 so that way I have the option for a self emptying bin?
Can you create a 'Mop map' so it will only go within those lines or do you need to create barriers so it doesn't pass through to a carpeted area is the join ups against each other.
Anyone knows if extended warranty thru CC would be applicable to this ? As the warranty provided doesn't seem to be manufacturer warranty.
Most CCs only cover products that come with a manufacturer's warranty. You'll need to contact your CC to be sure. These do come with a 2-year warranty provided by SquareTrade/AllState.

Yes but wondering if that 2 years warranty is treated as manufacturer warranty
Ya I was reading review sites and that was one of the things they said but hell, it may be incorrect. Roborock's naming convention makes absolutely no sense.

Very hit or miss. You have to look at the terms of the CC warranty to see if it even covers refurbished items. Also usually the manufacturer warranty for refurbished items is something like 90 days so it would only be tacked on to the end of that warranty, not the "new" item warranty period. https://us.roborock.com/pages/service-warranty
Roborock's refurbished products are covered for 6 months so your CC would only be whatever length after the 6 months. Your CC will not extend the warranty ontop of an extended warranty (which is what these have because they are a warranty through Allstate and not the manufacturer).
