It's painful to read people saying this is a good deal when even at this price consumers are still getting fleeced like a M.F. It just proves that point that something is worth exactly what people are willing to pay, even if the true cost to produce it is only a tiny sliver of that.

Edit: Sorry. Just tired of these companies wallet-raping everyone and getting people to think they're being done a favor.

You are on point, there are many psychological tests out there to prove that most people think something more expensive is inherently better than the same thing with less price. This is exactly the reason why companies raise their price to make people feel like they are buying top, premium product when it only takes them a few bucks to manufacture it. I wish people pay more attention in school (or even go to school), this is psyc 101, placebo effect is 100% real and scientifically proven, not to mention their defensive reaction when told their purchases are way overpriced.
No one says this is a bad mouse, the point is that the price is not SD.
While I do agree that certain pricier items can be better in build quality but not when the price difference is crazy.
