Just a warning. Got this a while back from Newegg, drive was not in original packaging, only anti static bag and the drive makes a lot of noise and is not IMO suitable for a home PC. Even this price is not that good, would skip this immediately.

For $5 more, you can buy the same drive directly from WD. Plus Free Shipping for $25+ purchase(s).

The only problem I've had with these drives is the one I bought directly from their site. They do not package it properly for shipping

Unfortunately, Newegg isn't what it used to be.

One is CMR and the other is SMR. Not same.

so much misinformation on the forum from people who think they know it all. There are people who think OEM is cheap knock-off and other think all HDD comes in shrink-wrapped color boxes with color printed quick install manuals. OEM HDD are meant for system builders who often buy a lot and thus save them the time to unwrapped all the packaging. It's ALWAYS packed in factory sealed metallic bags in simple cushioned boxes and they carry full manufacturer warranty. The warranty is guarantee with the serial number on the HDD and your proof of purchase.
