I've had this desk (or one VERY close to it) for 10 years, and three moves. It works well (took off the under the table keyboard holder though - too low to the knees), and is strong enough.

Do not buy tempered glass for your high-end pc setup.

Friends don't let friends get glass desks. It makes monitor mounts hard/impossible and the chance of your desk randomly exploding isn't worth it.
It's funny you both say that about glass desks. I was thinking about getting a glass desk and I saw a post on Reddit recently were someone's glass desk exploded and they said this is why you don't buy a glass desk.

Yep, nobody thinks it will happen to them. If you've got thousands or hundreds of dollars worth of equipment depending on it, it's never worth it. Also worth noting these look like shit. Cable management is near impossible and the glass will be permanantly smudged/dusty/covered in pollen.

That doesn't happen in the real world, only internet videos. Half of those are probably staged for clout. Think about it. Do you know even one person in real life that their desk, or anything they have glass, just randomly exploded?
I have had this exact desk since beginning of 2020. It is great for the price. Same complaints as others, a bit narrow (which can be somewhat alleviated by leaving a few inches between the desk and the wall) and gets dirty quick, same as all glass.
Glass is nice but I'm gonna end up damaging it like my current wooden desk.Especially when I put my bowls or ceramic mugs. Sometimes I step on my desk to reach stuff. This gonna break if I do that.
Yeah you can't stand on it but everything else you mentioned is fine.
I had the same table and used it for more then a year. I recently bought a standing desk (waste of money if you ask) However i needed a bigger desk (once again waste of money if you ask)
Anyways this was one of the best desk i ever had. I used it for more then a year and sold it for 55$ and the guy who purchased texted me one month later and said the same that it was his best purchase so far. I bought pre covid so it was same price as currently
Good desk if you ask me
I owned this desk for about 4 years. It even made it through a move, reassembled very stable. If you move every few years, because things like work and live light like myself, or just want a cheap desk this is pretty good. I gamed on it non stop.
My only recommendation is don't even bother installing the keyboard tray.
Oh wow I got almost the exact same desk from Staples 10 or so years ago and I'm still using it through multiple moves and daily use. It's solidly built but like others have said glass is far from an ideal desk material, plus if you're tall you won't like the keyboard tray.

Yes you could.
Can anyone explain what has to be done?
