Went to Target and they let me price match it in-store. In and out in 5 minutes. Pretty easy and didn't need to sign up for a Walmart + acct/trial. Worth it especially if you get the 5% off with a RedCard

Bought base $320 iPad, works great. Honestly if you need a pro that's a different beast, but a basic tablet for all internet work and even many other things the $300 version is amazing.

i'm so tempted to get this but i can't help but feel the current gen with the M1 will drop to something close to this price eventually.. with the M1 being a bit more futureproof

Nope I don't have Walmart +. The guy at the register looked it up on his phone. He saw the price and looked to make sure it was "sold and shipped by Walmart", not a third party. Everything looked fine to him and he gave it to me. Was pretty simple for me. I would say it is ymmv since it does depend on the person working there
