FYI: if you like the Nest app over Google home, these new "google nest" cams only work with google home. I could not get them to work in the Nest app. Really wish I would've known that before buying

Your footage is stored on their cloud, so not your own storage. And for one camera it's not worth it, but it's the same price if you have 5 or even 10 cams.

I would not recommend using these battery operated, they don't last long and there's no 24/7 recording

The Home app is a travesty. It's vastly inferior to the Nest app and these are not compatible with the Nest app. But the name says Nest. Go figure.

Are these cameras that bad? I mean I want something to monitor and don't want to hardwire. These cameras seem better than Arlo? Also I hear Eufy mentioned a lot but aren't they pinging some Chinese server or am I confusing that with Wyze?

I would prefer something HomeKit but I don't mind using starling hub with this.
