better than a yoga then? that damn thing lasted 6 months before the screen hinge snapped off the frame
Finally.. Everytime broken hinge issue is discussed with Lenovo laptops, people keep saying that only happens with ideapad and not the yoga line. I knew I read issues with yoga as well.
I didn't miss any parts. The Gram's dimensions and weight haven't changed since they had DIMMs, and their battery life is the same as when there were DIMM slots, which were for LPDDR4 btw. Soldering is not necessary to have LPDDR. Perhaps it saves a dollar, but it has nothing to do with weight, size or battery life.
Wrong. Lpddr4 is always soldered. https://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedi...pddr-sdram
If you want to prove me wrong, provide a link to a lpddr4 memory module that you can buy to upgrade a laptop using lpddr4.
Not to TC. For those who has Costco membership and don't care difference between 15.6" and 16" screen size, for $10(shipping cost) more you can get the laptop with 16gb RAM and 512 gb storage.

theyre garbage. the metal hinges are fused to the plastic frame with plastic rivets... not even rivets, the metal hinges have holes where screws would normally go through, and the plastic lid has posts molded into it... the hinges are laid over those posts and then they melt the posts down to fuse the hinge in. it's utter garbage.
I have 2 LG Grams. My point is 8GB Ram Vs 16GB+ Ram. More Ram makes this laptop into a different level and can be used for more than 1 year wherr 8 gb ram limits the laptop usability.
i would agree with that. 8GB isnt really even enough for heavy web browsing... im really sick of this time period. 10 years from now i dont think any of this will be an issue. the supply chain will be back on track, and ram will be dirt cheap. laptops or any electronics wont have these common shortfalls.
