Amazon just lowered Makita XWT15 from about $166. Not the best price like last year's hackable deal at about $100 after battery returned, still a better deal than Home Depot.

Get off your high horse.
For most people buying a $130 torque wrench this is better then what they'd normally get especially at that price. Perfect for a DIYer or someone who doesn't have one.
If you want a better one go buy a bigger one. 🙄

Not the same, but xwt14 can be had for $129 with this "hack" deal from Home Depot (store 77511) https://slickdeals.net/f/15828604-makita-xt288t-18-volt-lxt-lithium-ion-brushless-cordless-combo-kit-5-0-ah-2-piece-241-55

Lol I just seen this and was about to post it! It's a great deal.

(But after getting the Bosch Profactor, I had to put the Makita 15 to rest. Maybe when the 40v arrives in my hand, I might go back. )

The Makita XWT08Z is also on sale for $221, if anyone is looking for something with more torque.

Only if you would like one that is smaller, lighter, and easier to handle, but with significantly less torque.

The 0 missing from the price in the title makes it look a little like it's 13.71 lol
