Has anyone switched from Simplisafe 2.0 to this? I already pay $10/month for 12 ring cameras and Simplisafe costs me $28/month. Does anyone know which system integrates better with Home Assistant?

If you have a Ring Protect Plan, which includes cellular backup, it will send alerts to your phone.

Can confirm, I am on the $10 a month Protect plan, and with recent power outages due to storms, I have lost both internet and power, but I have my ring plugged into a UPS (small 650VA slickdeal UPS is all it needs to run forever since it doesn't take much power), and I get a notification when it goes to cellular backup as well as notifications while it is on cellular back up and then a notification when internet connectivity is restored. Note that the Rin base station also has a built in battery that it will run on if it loses power, and once THAT battery gets low, it will go to a reduced power mode that will still monitor and alarm if it is armed and a monitored zone is violated, and you will get notifications for all of those transitions too.

Just to note that you should check with your home insurance company for discount on your home insurance due to having the Ring Protect Pro plan (or Plus, if you are grandfathered in for the active monitoring)
